Pick Up and Drop Off

Information

For the safety of our children at Hayes school we are asking you to do one of two things this year when picking up your children.  Please park along the south (poolside) in an angle slot if available or enter the alley from Boise (south side of school) and wait in the alley for your children.

We had many incidents last year where students were in harm's way running across Boise to get to the other side where parents were parked.  We will not allow students to cross Boise unless they go up to the stop sign on Concord.

Therefore we are asking to please have one way traffic from Boise street entrance to the alley that runs behind our school and exit onto McKinley.  This will create an even flow of traffic. 

Bussed students go out the front door at the main entrance.

Do not drive your child on the blacktop behind the school to the cafe doors; there are usually children in that area in the morning and Safety Patrol needs to put out the orange safety cones.
